The End of Ten

For years I've watched Doctor Who and yet all this time, I've never seen a proper regeneration episode as it was aired. Not even Nine to Ten. Granted, I've seen the Master do it but that doesn't count and I've seen Seven to Eight but that wasn't the same as it felt too out of place to care. But January 1st I got to see it. We knew the end was coming and by the Gods, it was a long wait. And now Ten is finally gone, saying his farewells after two weeks...

I firmly believe that when it comes to writing, the best way to do it is as a team. One persons ideas can be brilliant, but as Vince Russo has proven it's usually a good idea to have someone with you to stop you when you think a Judy Bagwell on a poll match is a good idea.
Take Friends, for example. Some say it's mindless television but this mindless TV show ran for ten years with huge ratings, created...

Well, I've posted what someone dubbed the 'Superkick around Renfrewshire', here's the rest.
It was a nice and simple match for Bishopton Gala Day this year. Me and Stevie had already wrestled earlier in the night and with an excitable crowd there's no need to do more than necessary to keep them entertained.
It's not a five star mat classic, but it was good simple fun.
Many, many thanks go to David and Elaine Wilson for giving me a copy of this today. I needed this and some other footage for a project and...

Over the weekend I lost a packet of crisps, a bottle of Tango and, oh yeah, my championship.
I'll start from the beginning...
The reinvention of NXT Wrestling is still in it's early stages, but the run of shows under the new direction, and new management, has been a good one to close the year. This weekend was the most fun I've...

I seem to have a lack of time to reply to messages these days. So I've decided to read through all my site-related messages and reply to them in one big bulk. Well, small bulk.
Before I do though - seriously, I didn't think anyone would give a crap. So cheers for making me feel important for half an hour.
Anyway...

After their last special, which was just over the line of over the top to be wholly enjoyable, Water of Mars broke out of the cheery happy specials and delivered something with a little more edge.
The Doctor takes a wee trip to Mars only to find out he's landed on the day the first Martian colony went boom. When he finds a water-based virus living in Ice Warrior territory, he fights the urge to stay...

Have you ever seen that film about the kid left at home over Christmas with the aftershave and the screaming? Yeah? Do you remember him growing up? No? Well, he did. Macaulay Culkin was a popular child actor but when he grew up, no one gave a crap. It's not uncommon, where's that Corey Feldman now? Nobody knows, nobody cares. You see them in 80's films shown over the holidays, get all nostalgic then don't give a crap for the rest of the year...
